ARINC 429 Line Drivers
A line driver is used when an avionics system needs to transmit data onto an ARINC 429 bus. DEI line drivers such as DEI0429, DEI1070A, DEI1072A, and DEI5097 are designed to convert logic-level data into the appropriate differential ARINC 429 signal. Depending on the device, DEI line drivers support common ARINC 429 data rates such as 12.5 kbps and 100 kbps and are available in different supply-voltage, package, and temperature configurations.
ARINC 429 Line Receivers
A line receiver performs the opposite function. It accepts signals from an ARINC 429 bus and converts them into logic-level signals that can be processed by the host system. DEI receiver products such as DEI1044, DEI1045, DEI1046, DEI1047, DEI1049, DEI1148, and DEI3283 provide options with different channel counts and electrical configurations for avionics system designs.
ARINC 429 Transceivers
A transceiver integrates both transmission and reception functions into a single device, making it suitable for systems that need bidirectional communication. DEI transceivers such as DEI1116 combine multiple receiver channels with a transmitter and support commonly used avionics interfaces including ARINC 429.
